It was a rare and sunny day here today in the PNW in the dead of winter. 54 degrees! Michael and I got out and visited one of our many islands!
I did my first race/fun walk ever with Michael. It was a 5K (3 miles) We did it in 52 minutes which isn’t bad since I am still recovering from multiple foot surgeries!
We intended to stop in Leavenworth, but town was packed for an Autumn parade. We stopped at the quilt shop outside of town and ate our lunch instead..
The tulips bloomed a bit later this year, so we were able to catch the last day of the festival!
Yesterday we did some exploring and row by row quilt shops. We saw Mt. Vernon, Arlington, Anacortes, Deception Pass, Oak Harbor …. The San Juan Islands!
